Although the November ballot hasn’t been finalized yet, we expect to see at least 3 Levies on the Bellbrook version: One for the City of Bellbrook, one for Greene County Public Health, and one for the Greene County Public library.
Let’s focus on the GCPL levy. The ask is for 1 mil, which translates to less than $3 per month per $100k of home value. The last time the GCPL asked for a levy was 11 years ago. I think most agree that our Winters Library is an absolute treasure in our community. The levy will be to continue providing the same level of services, while the library deals with funding cutbacks and rising costs.
