Jenn Leclaire Announces Candidacy for Bellbrook City Council with a Focus on the City’s Small Town Friendly Roots

Bellbrook, Ohio — [August 14, 2025] — Since choosing  Bellbrook as her hometown, Jenn Leclaire has emerged as a trusted community leader, problem-solver, and advocate for collaboration. Now, she’s stepping up to run for Bellbrook City Council—driven by a passion for helping others, building strong teams, and following through on what matters most to residents.

“When I moved to Bellbrook in 2020, I found that the best way to connect with the community was to begin giving back,” said Leclaire. “Whether I’m guiding a neighbor in need to the BSCSC – our local food pantry – for emergency supplies or working with the City to create the Citizens Academy, I believe in showing up, working together, and delivering on commitments.”

Leclaire’s campaign is grounded in three guiding principles:

  • Small-town Friendly – Working together to honor Bellbrook’s past and sustaining its future, all the while living up to the city’s slogan.
  • Action Oriented – Showing up, following through, and getting things done.
  • Principled – Acting with integrity and promoting open communication.

A lifelong problem-solver and experienced team builder, Leclaire is the Board Chair of the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Community Support Center (BSCSC) and was a member of the city’s Charter Review Advisory Board. She was named Sugar Maple Festival Citizen of the Year in 2025 and brings new initiatives to Bellbrook like FunnyFest and A Taste of the Town at Bellbrock Park.

With a background in developing training programs at a large pharmaceutical company, Leclaire is known for her ability to lead with empathy, work across differences, and take real action. Her track record reflects her commitment to listening first and acting with purpose.

“My goal isn’t to push an agenda—it’s to make sure the people of Bellbrook are heard, respected, and supported by a City Council that works as a team,” she said.

Campaign Priorities Include:

  • Bring back our Farmer’s Market
  • Promote downtown vitality with increased community events
  • Create a marquee to publicize community events
  • Work together to repurpose the old Sugarcreek Elementary property
  • Advance Age-Friendly Bellbrook and Bellbrook’s Revitalization initiatives
